3D SPACE

Panasonic Convention | London (GB) | 2011

2D/3D 360° environment. For the 2011 Panasonic convention in London, TAMSCHICK MEDIA+SPACE developed a three-dimensional 360° corporate show.
This exciting 360° audio-visual show combined 2D projections with 103inch 3D plasma screens, creating a new spatial experience. In one moment, media content visible on the walls flowed into the big screens. And in the next moment visual signals, sent out from the 3D screens, generated immersive imagery that took over the entire room. The viewer was seated on a stage that was surrounded by projection walls and 3D flat screens. Then, once he had put on his 3D glasses, he was taken on a journey through the new world of three-dimensionality.

Panasonic presented its new 3D technology and its benefits for areas like sports, film and medicine by first showing media content in the classical 2D way. Then, the flat images slowly turned into the third dimension. In cooperation with Panasonic Visual Inc., Tokyo, special care was put into the technical implementation of the 3D content. It was an exciting challenge to explore the characteristics of three-dimensional perception by starting off with two-dimensional depictions together with the 3D innovators from Panasonic. Best viewed in 3D!
