HAPPINESS

Opel, Salon de l'Automobile | Genf (CH) | 2004

World premiere. The core piece of the product staging was an oversized LED screen that was integrated into the scenography. Thousands of small aluminium plates moved wave-like in the air currents, generated by 80 ventilators, creating a sparkling and moving eye-catcher. The screen took up the movements of the plates and for a few moments triggered three short shows in which real actors on stage interacted with their virtual alter egos on screen. A water curtain, wind and lighting effects supported the show inserts of the dancers and acrobats. Great role models were interpreted humourously with irony and parody.
