German Design Award for the Lightcloud

TMS has won the prestigious German Design Award Special Mnetion for the installation Light Cloud, designed as the main experience at the Merck Innovation Center.

The jury described Light Cloud as: “ein faszinierendes, sinnlich erfahrbares Gesamtkunstwerk - a fascinating, sensorial total work of art.” It also demonstrates how an artwork can function as both landmark and instrument: a calm presence most of the time, and a responsive field whenever people bring their own movement and energy into the space.
