The universo Lavazza is a room within a room, created by hanging a semi-transparent curtain woven from thousands of filigree threads, which together act as a projection surface. This “room” is illuminated from both sides and can be experienced from within the room itself or from the outside. Visitors are invited to move the curtain by touching or walking through it, thus increasing the dynamics of the moving projection, which has the effect of a light sculpture from the outside.

Inside the room, the projections tell of coffee stations and rituals, of the milestones of the Lavazza company and of its awareness of innovation and aesthetics. The centrepiece of the room is an oval interactive table which serves as a meeting point for people to come together and communicate with each other. At the same time, it is an interactive surface that can be used to control the sequence of the 360° projection.
