On the tour through the exhibition, the four seasons are staged in three-minute intervals, with changing lighting moods, altering projections and different nature sounds. In this way the annual cycle of the seasons and the corresponding shifts in nature are experienced over the course of twelve minutes.

The presentation takes visitors on an incredible journey through the National Park. They fly past lakes, are plunged under the water’s surface with fantastic underwater shots, glide over forests and the snow-covered peaks of the National Park, hear interviews with locals, learn about the biodiversity of flora and fauna within the park, and experience a breathtaking timelapse of images of the Berchtesgaden Alps. Their path finally leads them to a large, 150m2 projection screen where they can experience the Watzmann mountain in the rhythm of the seasons. At the end of the cycle, the projection screen opens to reveal a spectacular view of the real mountain summit, towering high above the Königssee lake.
